Welcome to Quizzy (“we”, “our”, “us”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard the personal data you provide when using our mobile app, Quizzy. By accessing or using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide and improve the App’s functionality:
Personal Information: Name, Email, and Password: Collected during account creation to manage your account, authenticate users, and enable app features.
Financial and Transaction Data: When you purchase a subscription, all financial transactions are processed securely through the Google Play Billing system. We do not directly collect, view, or store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or payment credentials. We only receive non-sensitive transaction data necessary to provision your subscription, such as an order ID, purchase token, and subscription status (active, lapsed, or canceled).
Non-Personal Analytics Data: We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect aggregated, non-personal data about app usage. This data cannot identify you personally.
Camera/Image: We request access to your device camera so you can scan notes and textbook pages to generate quizzes. Images captured through the camera are processed in real time and are never stored on your device or uploaded to our servers. Once the quiz is generated, the image data is immediately discarded.
We request access to your photo library so you can select existing images of your notes or textbooks for quiz generation. Similar to camera images, selected images are processed on-device for quiz generation only and are never saved, stored, or transmitted to any server.
2. How We Use Your Information
Account Management: To create and maintain your account, verify your identity, and provide customer support.
App Functionality & Subscription Management: To personalize your experience, deliver core features, validate your active premium subscriptions, and process in-app entitlement changes.
Analytics: To analyze trends, improve the App, and enhance user experience.
Communication: To send service-related emails (e.g., account verification, reset password, updates, or billing notifications).
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not share any personal information with third parties. However, our third-party service providers, such as Firebase and Google Play Services, may have access to the necessary data (such as analytics tokens or purchase status tokens) required to provide us with analytics and billing verification services. We ensure that these third-party service providers are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
We may share your information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in the event of a merger or acquisition.

We implement industry-standard measures (e.g., encryption, secure protocols) to protect your data.
